Best item upgrade upgrading allows players to enhance their weapons and gear by adding new affixes, increasing its stats base or providing additional benefits. To upgrade items, the player must have the item in their inventory, and also access the kiln.

Usually items with weak bases (like rings) can be upgraded to a stronger base, while items with strong bases like eth titans aren't affected significantly in their stats after being upgraded.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons, armor and tools for gathering, offering an attribute bonus or additional effect when the equipment is used. They can be bought from vendors, or found as loot by enemies, or received from missions and chests. Some upgrades additionally have special cosmetic effects. Most upgrades require that the equipment be at a specific level to upgrade.

To upgrade item the quality of a weapon, armor or other item in the game, players will need to select it and then click on the Upgrade button on the toolbar. This will display a preview on the right side of the screen, showing what the expected upgrade statistics will be as well as the necessary material or component needed for the upgrade to take place.
