World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses like damage from PvE and crit chance.

For example a weapon that has the upgrade template that ends in % will gain an attack damage of 3% each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the current level of the item. The cost increases as the level of the item upgrader kit increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons to provide them with a boost in stats or add a bonus effect. They can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors trading, or looting. Certain upgrades come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be inserted into any equipment with a slot for them. The item must be at a minimum upgraded to blue level for a component to be applied. Upgrade components, unlike other mods can only be applied once. They are not able to be replaced or applied several times. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascended equipment, as well in some items that aren't ascended. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix may be added to an Upgrade item [coverbeggar9.bravejournal.net], thereby changing the name of the item it is applied to (for example 'Canthan Armor Insignia',' changes to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level with normal methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can change the attack or defence attributes of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. These upgrades can be purchased by purchasing them from the cash shop or obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

The player can get a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the likelihood that a higher-level version of the item will be available at the time of the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue improving their equipment even if they're uncertain of how much they'll improve following a subsequent reset.

The process of upgrading an item can be costly, and it is possible that the item will be obsolete, or even break, when the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powder are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that can double or even eliminate the chances of failure, as well as some upgrades that offer the benefit of being reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs are upgrade components that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs buff the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them and include pre-existing affixes to equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded a variety of ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 as soon as you can.

In the endgame you'll often discover that the most effective way to upgrade your gear is to place Glyphs. These are the only upgrade components that can be upgraded to level 15 and give an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, however, Glyphs are only the one upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without restriction. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it from your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph with the same rank or higher rank, which will increase the overall value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of a Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use and also through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt has the chance of dropping one of the numerous Glyphs, and there are some rare Glyphs that can be found as drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs, you will have to attach them to your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a special bonus which will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes within a radius around the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is best to place Glyphs in the most important places on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. For instance that a Druid should try to position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes but also be sure to place them near the most critical damage nodes as well.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components inside them. This is referred to as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned a level which determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires various components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained from finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table or bought from NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to upgrade the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and the additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When a player upgrades an item the original item will be replaced by a new item. The same armor will be upgraded to the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own bonus. This could be a problem because it can cause the item to become more expensive, even if you don't need it.

item level upgrade upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, if the player has enough reroll tokens in order to do so. The item upgrader mod will be replaced by the same item, but it is based on a level 1 base and completely different bonuses. This is a good idea however it should not be used frequently as it can be a waste of resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled several times to increase their value, allows the player to modify their equipment. An excellent example is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or swims like dolphins). It can be upgraded multiple times, each time raising the maximum roll by 10 points. This item can be very valuable in PvP as an item that is properly rolled it can be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to boost the level of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces boost the defense of the base set, while upgrades to weapon items boost their base damage and also increase their strength and dexterity.

All items are upgradeable up to five times, with the exception for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade a piece of equipment, it has a chance of failing. The failure rate increases when you exceed the maximum number. Failures will cause the item to return to its initial state, which requires the player to purchase more resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it gained like crit chance attack damage, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the user can continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that, should a weapon gain an increase in the chance of crit the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is calculated each time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating as well as the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a typical equipment item could have five upgrades, each costing 25,600 Technology Points and a 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with an incredibly lower cost for each upgrade.

Premium items may have different upgrade requirements from regular gear. For example they may require less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Players will still have to take every piece of gear they wish to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of the ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses listed above.
