It is an entire travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot suitable for newborns, a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair, and a choice of a car seat, so you can have everything you need in one place.

The XL Air is a really impressive vehicle and it's simple to understand why it has been awarded so many praises from customers. It is incredibly lightweight The chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg. It is also very simple to put together. In fact, I was able to get the whole thing up and running in just five minutes, which is pretty impressive considering it included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!

It has a lovely wide seat that was comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months) and the recline lever is very simple to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I like that the handle bar comes with pockets to keep your phone and keys safe.

The only issue is that the handlebar is low, which could be a problem for taller parents. However, it's encased with a luxurious leather-like material that is soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, making it still easy to push with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is designed for parents who love to explore and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels can be utilized on field and forest paths. The front wheel can be locked and can be swiveled to increase the flexibility. The stroller comes with 5-point safety harness with an adjustable front bar that will keep your child secure on every trip. The parking brake keeps the stroller in place as you take a break. The comfy seat is easy to recline to a lying position and the canopy opens to reveal with netting to ensure maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm, to fit mom or dad.

If you're planning an easy jog or a longer hike, the Runner is ready to accompany you on all your adventures with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise a bump-free ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability when walking on narrow streets or busy sidewalks. The stroller can also fold up to fit into car boot spaces or storage spaces.

Some parents have reported that the Runner 2 to be a bit more difficult to navigate than its predecessor and the locking mechanism is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on the opposite side of the push bar). The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which is known for its simple and well-designed essentials for parenting. It's the latest - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller collection. It's also, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable which means you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace has some amazing design touches such as a rose gold tint to the hood, chassis and stroller trims, which truly distinguish it from its competitors. The grey, tan and cream fabrics used in the stroller as well as the car seat are stylish and there is an option to add the leather handle for the cover and bumper bar too.

The stroller seat can be used from birth until a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily into a 2-in-1 reversible position, which is either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has several lie-back positions, plus softly padded legs rests and an extended sun canopy with concealed zip sections with a view-through flap, and a retractable visor.

When folded, the Pace measures 56 inches x 43cm and 32 inches, which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also easy to fold, thanks to two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side that just need to be pressed in and pop up.

Bugaboo Fox 5

Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate, all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis features a shorter wheel width that makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it out alongside my two kids - one a toddler and another eight week old - over the rocky roads as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.
