World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. Upgrades can also boost bonuses like Crit chance and damage from PvE.

If the template for upgrading a weapon ends in %, it will be able to gain 3% of its previous damage for every time it is upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases as the item level increases.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armor and trinkets in order to give them a stat boost or add a bonus effect. These can be obtained by making crafts, buying from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades also have specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before the component can be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascending equipment, as as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging gear from the ascended, or by completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade item (www.diggerslist.com's website) may be prefixed or a suffix changing the name of the equipment with which it is applied (for examplethe 'Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions using fewer Upgrade crystals than they would require to reach the same level using normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can alter the attack or defense properties of a weapon, or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. They can be dropped by enemies while upgrading other gear or buying them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals each.

The player is able to have the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the probability that a higher-tier version of the item will be available during the next reset. This gives players an incentive to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know what will be improved after a reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly and there is a high possibility that the item will become obsolete or even break if it fails. A failure to upgrade can ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to upgrade the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Each Glyph has a certain range of values it can improve a statistic by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with an Glyph that is the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase, with certain unlimited-use tools and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt will drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

After you have acquired the desired Glyphs you'll need them to be placed on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus which will boost a specific set of stat nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats based on the Glyph.

Glyphs will increase the number of nodes connected to them, therefore it is best to place Glyphs in strategic spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. For example that a Druid should try to place their Glyphs near their primary damage nodes but you should also think about placing them near crucial damage nodes, too.

Leveling

The system of upgrading items allows players to increase the stats of specific items by putting upgraded components in them. This is also known as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with an amount that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385. Each level requires a different number of components to reach, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets advanced in level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient can be obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed yields a certain number of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an individual player upgrade an item it will be replaced with a new item. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item upgrader kit comes with its own set of bonuses. This could be a drawback, as the item can be more expensive even if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced with a brand new one that has a level 1 basis and completely different bonuses. This is a good option for certain items, however it's not something that should be repeated often, as it could waste lots of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value and allow players to modify their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants an increase in power if the player is repeatedly in or exits the water. The item can be upgraded several times and increases the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is highly important in PvP. A perfectly rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of a unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to boost the quality of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets above ilvl 385--by presenting the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and weapon upgrades items increase their base damage as well as their strength and dexterity.

Each item can be upgraded a maximum of five times, with the exception of hero gear, which can be upgraded with eight upgrades. Every each time you upgrade an item, it is given the chance to fail. The rate of failure increases as you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will result in the item returning to its original state and the player having to purchase more materials than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item does not upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item will also lose any bonuses it has gained like the chance to crit attack damage, other effects (such as an increase in healing over time, or the speed of reloading). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from the lowest to the highest. This means that when a weapon gains an increase in its crit chance it will be applied prior to any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand-new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated every time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium products is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with a much lower cost for each additional upgrade.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements than standard gear--for instance, they might require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. However, players will need to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade requires the use of different upgrade ingredients.
