Best Lightweight Single Stroller

It is the lightest and smallest stroller for travel available. Its sleek design is easy to fold into a neat rectangle and the wheels turn more easily than some other designs.

The stroller also comes with an enormous storage area underneath the seat and a shoulder strap to make it easier to transport when you're not pushing it. But the canopy adjuster can make a lot of noise, which could wake a sleepy toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

A compact stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its small size. The basket in the back of the seat is equipped with a spring-loaded mechanism, which means you can push the basket down to put bags for diapers or backpacks and then it will pop up to secure the contents. It has a child accessory holder and an adjustable seat pad that reclines. This is more than what you see on a typical light stroller.

Additionally, it comes with an excellent canopy that can open and close to provide the sun protection you require, and the handlebar is height-adjustable in four positions for a comfortable fit. We weren't too impressed by the quality of its ride on rough terrain. We felt that the suspension and wheels didn't perform a great job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

It's an ideal travel stroller since it arrives in the box fully assembled, with just few steps to get it set to use. The seat can be pushed forward and backwards to adjust the recline. It's quite flat. Two buttons on the frame make it easy to fold and unfold. And it fits into an extremely convenient bag for carrying when not in use. It's actually one of the smallest strollers we tested, and it fulfills the requirements of most airlines for gate-checking and cabin storage, on airplanes. Make sure to check with your airline to find out if there are any restrictions before you fly. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is a great option for those who require a stroller that is lightweight for travel. It has all the features parents would want in a stroller. This includes all-terrain wheels and front suspension to ensure a smooth ride. It's also extremely light, at less than 12 pounds. It folds by one hand, and then stand up on its own. It has two cup holders on each tray for parents and children.

Its build quality isn't very high, and it did not perform well in our maneuverability test. It also features a flexible frame that makes pushing it across rough surfaces feel like lifting a heavy weight. It might be okay if you use the stroller only on paved sidewalks. But for most people, it's not ideal.

The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy with a peek-aboo window for additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds and uses the 5-point safety restraint system. This is an excellent feature for older toddlers who have outgrown their infant car seats.

It's small and folds down in one step. It is able to be collapsed by pressing a button. It also comes with a brake that is triggered by the foot and easy to adjust and release.

The handle is lower than most of the strollers we have examined, and some parents might find it uncomfortable to use for extended periods. It does come with an adjustable handle lock that keeps it in place when opened however. This is a good feature to have if are planning to use the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow single convertible stroller is the ideal travel stroller for parents who are always in motion. The compact stroller is easy to fold up and down and easily fits in overhead compartments on planes and in trunks at amusement parks (no worries about parking fees). It also comes with an easy-zip bag for storage that is easy to carry. It can be used from birth with the infant car seat adapter, and provides a decent amount of coverage in the sun by way of its canopy (though not as much as the Nuna TRVL or Uppababy Minu V2). The only downside for parents who have children is that they consider the style to be dated and unfashionable.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other lightweight cheap single pushchair strollers, but it was designed specifically for luxe urban and travel. It is among the top single strollers that fold easily and comes with a handy carry case. It has plenty of storage space as well as a cupholder. The seat is comfortable for the adult and child, and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller in our list that comes with a car seat adapter to allow it to be used with infants. Some parents with short legs may not appreciate the handlebar that isn't adjustable.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it comes with a ton of amazing features that help kids travel more easily. The large seat reclines to a flat position and has additional padding to make those airplane naps more comfortable. The canopy that extends can provide adequate sun protection, and the tray is spacious with plenty of storage. It also has a spring-loaded handle that doubles as the footrest when folded. This footrest is prone to being damaged by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is an elegant stroller with high-end design and quality. Its compact size allows it to easily navigate narrow sidewalks and tight spaces, but its sturdy construction means it can take on rough terrain without compromising the comfort of your child. Front and rear spring-action suspension creates a noticeably more comfortable ride for both of you, while its robust materials ensure that it can withstand every day wear and tear without losing its shape. It can also be enlarged to accommodate other accessories, such as an infant car seat.

In our testing, the Minu was easy to fold and maneuver even with a child in the hand. The squat fold, which splits into three parts was among the easiest folds we tested. This allows it to be easily tucked away in overhead compartments on planes and on public transport. It also features a single push chair-action brake with color coded that is simple to use.

The seat reclines in multiple positions and the leg rest can be adjusted with one hand, making it simple to determine your child's ideal position. The UPF 50+ hood came down quite a bit and was perfect to shield Cora's eyes from the sun (though not as low as some other strollers). The medium-sized mesh peekaboo window is attached magnetically to the canopy and shuts without the need for noisy Velcro.

The Minu weighs less than 15 pounds and has an integrated handle that makes it easy for transport. It also has a shoulder strap. It can also be stowed in the trunk of your vehicle, and it comes with a storage bag as well as access to Uppababy's TravelSafe program which adds two years onto the manufacturer's warranty and provides replacements for damaged items during travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is a well-known brand that makes a number of different strollers. This lightweight stroller is an excellent choice for parents looking for a sturdy stroller to transport their children. It is easy to maneuver, has plenty of storage space, and is easy to fold. It's not ideal if you want a car seat-compatible model or a double stroller, though. It doesn't accept infant car seats. Your babies must be able to sit up on their backs before you can use it.

This stroller comes with a number of solid features and an impressive price tag. It scored higher in our maneuverability test than other models with similar specifications. It's an excellent choice for smooth paved surfaces. It also has a nice canopy and plenty of storage space, including a large tray for parents. The handlebar is smaller than average and the front wheel suspension is more rigid, but it is still comfortable for adults.

If you have twins or two kids of different ages, you might find that a side-by-side stroller is the best option to get them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove. It comes with a variety of features and is small in size that allows it to fit into places where other side-byside strollers can't.

It has individually reclining seats, a large canopy with a peek-a-boo window and tons of storage. It's heavier than other side-bysides but it has a decent capacity for weight and can handle most children up to 50 pounds. You can even include a bassinet on the front of the stroller to accommodate newborns.

If you're looking for a more luxurious version of this stroller, the Caboose RS Sit and Stand Stroller is a worthy alternative. It comes with the same great features as the model above and comes with a bassinet that allows you to take your baby home from the hospital with style.
