Suspension

The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine the ease with which your child/children and you can push it. It is crucial to have a smooth ride, as babies can feel every bump in the road. This is particularly the case if you're driving on rough terrain such as grass or roads that aren't paved. Some models come with locking front tires to help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.

Some models have tyres with air filled that are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they are susceptible to punctures. Make sure you keep an extra set of tyres inside the trunk. Other models use gel or foam tyres that are specifically designed to handle bumps and can be less prone to punctures, however, you might find them a little stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back if you decide to jog.

Folding

A three-wheeled double buggy can be folded up neatly to be stored.
