Its 8,000pa suction motor will quickly pick up sand, dirt and pet hair. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by a lot. The rotating mop spins at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out a bit more than other robots, which is helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to collect larger debris like broken toys and books.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the most quiet robot vacuums and mops I've ever used. It is quieter and doesn't produce more noise when mopping or vacuuming. The S1 Pro is only limited by the fact that it needs to use a proprietary mopping solution and is sold separately. It's easy to install and performs well however it's something you'll have to keep an eye on if you're buying this robot vacuum solely for the purpose of it mopping.
