What is an Item Upgrader in Pokemon Go?

The item upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. This Manager costs 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gaming benefit other than making it easier to see and purchase upgrades.

Some boosts are suitable for specific builds (such Whistan's shield, for FB sorcs) while others could provide an enormous amount of value to certain collectors.

Certain items come with inherent boo that is less useful when upgraded, such as the Goldwrap that gives you extra potion slots. These are often upgraded to add more value to a near-perfect or perfect item.

Costs

Upgrades are accompanied by a few associated costs. The first is the cost of performing the upgrade. This price is contingent on the item's new ilvl and the amount of perks it will gain, and can be expensive. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) are costly.

The second is the cost of the materials needed to upgrade. The items used are usually either Power Dices (dropped by monsters 21and over) or Minerals and Erons (obtainable by completing certain Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor quests). These materials can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.

Upgrades to an item are complicated and takes time. It could take as long as 8 hours, depending on the size of the upgrade. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated based on the new ilvl of the item, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonuses, damage dice, and other vital statistics. In certain cases the upgrade can grant additional benefits that can be chosen from a variety of advantages.

Rarely, the advantages obtained will cost more than one perk slot In these instances the upgrade will replace the highest-cost perks. The upgrader can also make other adjustments to the item, like changing the type of damage it deals to its weapon, or adding or eliminating an operational or unwieldy option. These changes are based on an item level upgrade's ilvl and may require special materials, such as Adamantine.

Success Rate

The basis for upgrading items is the chance of success, and as with every random system, there's a chance that the upgrade won't be successful. There are a number of ways to increase the chances of success. This includes using an item upgrader kit dubbed an Upgrade Pity, or the addition of extra items to the upgrade.

The Upgrade Pity is available from the NPC for the smithing process in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of a successful upgrade by a certain percentage. This is similar to the luck bonus some items come with however it is more stable. It can be added to any armor or weapon and is able to be used up to three times.

It is also possible to add a variety of additional materials to the upgrade item, thereby increasing its chance of success. The materials are displayed in a window above the + button. There are however limitations to this, and the largest amount of material that can be added is shown right above the + button in the UI.

A Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version can be used to increase the chances of an upgrade being successful. This item can be helpful if your weapon or piece is nearing or has reached the top level of its tier. This item level upgrade will allow you upgrade the equipment to the next tier without the risk of breaking.

If an upgrade fails it will be returned to its original state. This is typically an upgrade, but it could also be an upgrade. It is an excellent idea to save an upgrade for when you're near the highest level of an item, and then use it as an option last resort.

Kafra has a number of products that can be used in order to increase the chances of an upgrade succeeding. You can increase your chances of success by upgrading your equipment several times using HD Oridecon and HD Elunium. In the same way, increasing the likelihood to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will increase the success rate.

Failure Rate
