WoW Upgrades - The Item level Upgrade Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a boost to specific stats. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. Each upgrade also increases the random substatus.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless it is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). These types of gear get less value from upgrading due to the need to roll for a perfect model.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item that is used for the upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in all major cities, and can be visited anytime to upgrade your gear. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every few weeks.

The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the item being upgraded, but will always be less expensive than buying new gear from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase weapons, armor, tools and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from NPCs of item upgrade upgraders in a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists.
